MAPP Class, Thursdays at 6pm, Oct 7-Dec 16. These classes are the first step in becoming a licensed foster family and/or family approved to adopt a child from US foster care.

DX1 Retreat for 3rd-5th Graders
September 17-18, 2010
This is a time to build relationships between kids and God, Extreme volunteer leaders and staff. Kids will learn that actions speak louder than words and have a fun experience together doing so. Kids will also be encouraged to memorize the 10 commandments. Register using an event envelope located at The Rock or the Extreme this Sunday.

Get Connected at Westside! During this one-time, 2-hour event, learn how Westside is designed and prepared to help you engage with God to discover the purposes and joy He has for you. At the end of class, you will have the opportunity to become a member of WFC. Join us Sunday, September 26 at 1pm. Free childcare with advance registration.

High School Leadership Summit, Sept. 10-12 at Beaver Lake, AR. Strategic leadership training to take each student to the next step in their walk with Christ. Cost is $30.

If You Were Mine Workshop
October 2, 2010
This adoption workshop on Saturday, October 2 from 8:30am-4:30pm will help you explore God’s heart for the orphan, the processes and challenges of adoption, agency selection and funding options, how to prepare, and what to expect when your child comes home. Registration includes a light breakfast, lunch, and one workbook. No childcare provided.

New Follower of Jesus Class

For kids who have recently made the decision to follow Christ, this 4-week study will help kids understand what it means to follow Jesus, the importance of Baptism, The Lord's Supper, their role as church members and getting started in Bible study and prayer. Sundays beginning October 3 at 8:30am at the Lenexa Campus.

Join our Premarital LifeLine for 6 weeks starting Tuesday, September 14 at 6:30pm at Lenexa. For engaged or soon-to-be-engaged couples to help prepare them for married life. This LifeLine covers topics such as: communication, conflict resolution, finances and building a Christian home. $50 per couple to be paid by cash or check at first class.

LifeGroups kick-off Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 6:30pm. Middle School will meet at Lenexa, High School at host homes.

Vocal Team Auditions at the Lenexa Campus, Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 6:30pm. Come ready to sing the song of your choice (bring accompaniment).
