The counseling ministry of WFC is biblically based, and is built on the biblical model by Jay Adams, called “nouthetic” counseling, which is truth based! Our “Mission Statement” is…
- to lead individuals to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ;
- to encourage people in biblical thinking, attitudes and behaviors;
- and to offer biblical directions, hope and discipleship!
- ONE ON ONE
The first component has to do with “one on one” counseling for individuals, couples and families. To make the initial contact for a referral please contact our Administrative Assistant, Jodi, at [913] 890-4246. She’ll return your call and set you up with the appropriate team member.
- LIFELINES
The second component has to do with our “LifeLines” ministry, or support groups. We typically have 30+/- LifeLines to choose from. If you are interested in more information concerning our current groups please click here.
- HOT TOPICS
The third component has to do with “Hot Topics”. These are sensitive areas that many of our families deal with on a day to day basis. In this area we offer biblical tools/resources that will direct you to books, audio tapes, videos, and magazine articles on thirteen sensitive areas. - INTIMATE ENCOUNTERS
Intimate Encounters is a marriage enrichment program that has roots at WFC for over 7 years! It is designed to help take biblical marriages and deepen their roots and foster growth and strengthen the family within the home! For more information about Intimate Encounters click here.
