Biblical Emotional Intelligence
Coed Study
The study will take place on Wednesdays beginning June 4 at the Lenexa Campus from 6:30-8pm.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind. Luke 10:27
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:1-2
The commandment to love God with all of our heart is a call to obey Him with our intellect, will, actions, and emotions. Jesus Christ is our case study in biblical emotional intelligence.
Our objectives are to help each believer to:
*Become emotionally mature and Christ-like
*Understand how emotions arise in our spirit, in our soul and from our body and how these complex interactions create our emotions and our character
*Understand the structure of our thoughts and how they relate to our emotions
*Express emotions with clarity, integrity, sensitivity, and love
This 8 week COED study is for any believer who is seeking Christian maturity. It will be particularly useful for anyone who wants to improve their relationships at work or home.

The Beatitudes: Developing Spiritual Character
Men's Study
The study will take place on Tuesdays beginning June 3 at the Lenexa Campus from 6-7:15am.
They call us to be meek and merciful, poor in spirit and pure in heart, mourning and hungry, peacemakers and persecuted. These are the character traits that Jesus highlighted to describe what he looks for in all Christians.
In this 8 week study, we will take a more in-depth look at the beatitudes and how they can help us develop spiritual character as we begin to live them out on a daily basis.
