Strategic Weekend Opportunities
CHILDREN - PRESCHOOL LEADERS FOR WEEKEND SERVICES: These volunteers share Bible stories with children age 6 weeks to Pre-K while they play with a variety of Bible learning activities. These leaders serve weekly during one weekend service. No experience? Don’t worry, we will train you! CHILDREN - SUNDAY SCHOOL (Small Groups): Teachers lead children in break-out groups and help personalize the Bible lesson presented in The Rock (K-2nd) and the Extreme (3-6th) on the weekends. CRAVE -SUNDAY MORNINGS, 11:15am: (6th grade through 8th grade): We believe that you can worship God and have a ton of fun doing it! At Crave the middle schoolers will have a chance to connect with their friends, worship God to some cool music, hear a message that applies to their lives, and play some awesome games. FIRST IMPRESSION TEAM: The First Impression Team exists
to create an atmosphere of warmth and personal acceptance while providing
a safe environment to reach people for Christ and grow believers to
be like him. This team warmly greets everyone who is on their way to
the worship service with a handshake and a smile. This team also assists
people in the worship service by handing out bulletins, overseeing the
service in general and assisting people where needed. Training/orientation
provided. Service times: Sunday - 9:30,

LIFEGROUP LEADERS: At Westside, we believe everyone
needs to be in a LifeGroup (small group) where they can build friendships
and grow in their relationship with God. You can be a part of helping
cultivate a healthy, purpose-driven LifeGroup that produces healthy

TRAFFIC CONTROL: This ministry helps people to have a positive
experience at church by helping cars flow smoothly into and out of the

WORSHIP ARTS - BAND & VOCAL MINISTRY: Sure, we have incredible
talent, but more than that, we know how to have fun as we serve together
as a family of musicians. So if you have the stuff to crank it up or
belt it out, know that there is never a shortage of opportunities in
the band or vocal team. In fact, we like to say, “The more the

WORSHIP ARTS – PROGRAMMING MINISTRY: All those
cool weekend message themes, dramas, special music and creative elements
are dreamed up and put into play by the programming team. Opportunities
include: stage design & construction, research, drama, directing

WORSHIP ARTS – TECH MINISTRY: It doesn’t
matter how tight the band or inspired the Pastor without the audio techs.
But even if you can hear everything, it’s so much better with
proper lighting. This is where the lighting techs come in with their
designs. Yet, that’s still not the last piece of the puzzle is
it? The multi-media techs come in and add the final touch with camera
